Innovative technologies

Obuv Rossi Group has its own R&D centre which develops innovative materials for shoes and introduces new technologies into production. One of the promising areas is polymer materials (EVA). These are superlight, superstrong and frost resistant materials that improve the footwear consumer performance.

The Group also cooperates with Novosibirsk Technological Institute, one of the major industry research institutes in the eastern part of Russia, in testing new materials and patenting new inventions. Development of outsole with anti-slip properties as well as wearability testing of outsole materials are among some of the most recent joint projects of Obuv Rossii and the Institute.
