Obuv Rossii Delivers 160 Thousand Third-Party Online Orders in 8 Months

Obuv Rossii Group, the first publicly traded company in Russian fashion-retail, reviews the results of the Pick-up Points project for eight months of 2019. The total number of the parcels from third-party online stores that were delivered in the Company’s stores is over 160 thousand. Such results were achieved partly owing to the attraction of new partners to the project, such as Boxberry, PEK and Hermes. As a result, Obuv Rossii is cooperating now with five logistic market operators and with the OZON online retailer. There are more than 850 pick-up points currently in the Company’s stores, most of which are located in the stores of Westfalika, the main retail chain of Obuv Rossii.

“The success of the project is due to the increase in the number of partners and aggressive opening of our stores. The Pick-up Points project has allowed developing relations with our partners, customers and attracting new clients. People come to our stores to get a parcel and can additionally get acquainted with our new collection and all the range of goods, select the total look and buy goods by instalments”, says Natalia Kulikova, head of the financial services of Obuv Rossii Group. “While implementing the project, we observe increased interest in our products, higher traffic and loyalty of our customers. We plan to continue bolstering this project, thus attracting new partners and expanding the chain of pick-up points.”

Obuv Rossii started to implement the Pick-up Points project in November 2018, when jointly with PickPoint, the leading logistics operator on the Russian e-commerce market, it announced the launch of a pick-up point chain on the base of Obuv Rossii stores. In February 2019, the Group set about cooperating with the biggest commercial operator for expedited delivery in Russia, the DPD company, and in summer 2019 concluded a partnership agreement with the OZON online retailer.
