Obuv Rossii started to deliver OZON online orders

Obuv Rossii Group and OZON online retailer have concluded a partnership agreement which will allow the e-commerce platform to increase the regional pick-up points network in Russia by several hundreds and will enable the footwear retailer to raise its foot traffic. OZON pick-up points are primarily opened in the stores of Westfalika brand — the main retail chain of Obuv Rossii. The service is already available in 97 sales points in cities and town of Siberia and Far East. By the end of August another 30 pickup points will be launched in these regions and by the end of 2019 the companies plan to increase its amount at least by 3.5 times scaling the pickup points network in other regions: in Northwestern, Southern, Ural, Central and Volga Federal Districts.

In Obuv Rossii stores a full range of services such as online-orders delivery and payment as well as order return is available for OZON clients.

«We are glad to cooperate with OZON online platform being one of the leaders of Russian e-commerce market. With new partners joining the “Pick-up points” project, we increase the foot traffic, drive loyalty of regular customers and attract new ones. People appreciate the idea of using modern services in our stores — receiving their deliveries, paying in any convenient way and, if necessary, trying on clothes or shoes,» — comments Natalia Kulikova, Head of the Obuv Rossii Group Financial Service Department.

«In the first half of 2019 OZON regional sales more than doubled year-on-year and the “last mile” development will further contribute to achieving this growth potential in Russian regions. Due to partnership with Obuv Rossii we will scale up the regional pickup points network by several hundreds, raise it by 45% in Siberia and Far East already by the end of August and soon reach the remote towns of Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts. Synergy of offline and online formats offers a lot of opportunities: in our experience, the foot traffic of the stores with pickup points grows on average by 10% and more», — Gregory Orlov, Director for Infrastructure and OZON Pick-up Points Network Development, comments.

Obuv Rossii Group started the Pick-Up Points project in October 2018 and now cooperates with five large operators of the Russian logistic market.  More than 600 Company’s outlets have joined the project, and in the first half of the year, the Group issued more than 100 thousand parcels. Today online customers receive about 650-700 deliveries per day on average in Obuv Rossii’s stores, in most cases these are small domestic appliances, perfumes, cosmetic products, books, apparel and footwear.

The partners within the project pay Obuv Rossii fee on each delivered and returned online order as well as fee on accepted payments. The Company gives Arifmetika loyalty cards to the clients getting online orders. Moreover, the project results in sales growth: the conversion to the purchases of the customers who come to receive their deliveries and additionally buy some goods or services in Obuv Rossii’s stores amounted to 4.5%.
