The Obuv Rossii Group of Companies retrofitted the assembling department and united assembling of shoes with the help of the cement shoe construction method, the cementing and welt-sewing method, and using the high-temperature vulcanization technique. To do it, the Company moved the conveyor line for assembling shoes using cement attaching from leased premises in Novosibirsk to own premises in Berdsk. Having united the departments, the Company optimized the technological process, which will make it possible for the Company to do all works quicker and with smaller labour input. 

In autumn 2016, Obuv Rossii expanded its manufacturing facilities in Berdsk 1.5 times, from 3.8 to 5.8M sq.m. Now, 1.4M sq.m. from the new purchased area is occupied by a united workshop. It’s about 2.5 times bigger than the premises where the line for shoe assembling had been located in Novosibirsk. In the reconstructed department, the Company will make both classical footwear, shoes made of EVA and special footwear – working and military.

Now Obuv Rossii has two manufacturing sites – in the city of Novosibirsk with automated systems for the production of footwear of EVA and in the town of Berdsk, where the manufacture with all main construction methods are used – injection moulding, cement attaching, cementing and welt-sewing, and high-temperature vulcanization. The Company produces mainly footwear of the casual, semi-sport kind. In addition, in 2016 Obuv Rossii entered the market of special footwear, opened a separate manufacturing line and developed its own collection of military and tactical footwear.
