In March Obuv Rossii Started Selling Small Household Appliances

10 March 2020, Novosibirsk: In March small household appliances under the Polaris, Centek, Vitek, Scarlett and Dobrynya brands appeared in the stores of Obuv Rossii Group. First of all, the new assortment was delivered to retail chains in Novokuznetsk, Biysk, Omsk, Barnaul, Krasnoyarsk, Abakan and other Siberian cities. In the future, such wares will be sold in almost all stores of the Westfalika and Peshekhod retail chains that are part of the Group. The trial batch of small household appliances is over 35,000 units.

Assortment includes electric kettles, irons, blenders, trimmers, razors, hair dryers, curling irons, grills, etc. “This is our first experience of cooperation with suppliers of small household appliances, which will allow us, on the one hand, to expand the range of wares, and on the other hand, to attract new customers,” comments Olga Danilova, Head of the Related Products’ Department, Obuv Rossii Group. “We constantly analyze the market and monitor new trends, including consumer behavior. Obuv Rossii expands its assortment as part of the development of the Prodaem selling platform and reformatting stores into omni-channel marketplaces. The new project has been working since December 2019. At the end of February, the number of suppliers that connected to the platform exceeded 300 companies. Today, in the company’s stores, in addition to shoes, clothes and accessories, there are children's toys, household goods, dishes, and personal care products. Among the partners of the platform are such large companies as Moulin Villa, MDI, Grand-lux and others.

In December 2019, RAEX (Expert РА) assigned the creditworthiness rating to Obuv Rossii Group at ruBBB+ level, a "stable" forecast.
