Obuv Rossii Starts to Sell Virtual Cards Online

NKO Platezhny Standart (Payment Standard Nonbank Credit Organization, LLC), part of the Obuv Rossii Group and operator of Arifmetika Financial Services System, has expanded the list of its services due to virtual Mastercard credit cards. Any user can purchase a virtual card on the website of the Company; the card value is limited to RUB 15,000. Platezhny Standart became one of the first companies on the Russian market to launch online retailing of virtual cards. The new payment tool is part of the Company’s program for the introduction of up-to-date emission solutions, including those on virtual media.

You can order a virtual card online — on the upgraded website www.payst.ru. The new website version started to work in early February. The Company has changed the design of the website according to the latest tendencies, elaborated its sections, products and services focusing on the B2B and B2C sectors.

“A virtual card is a convenient modern payment tool which saves customers’ time. Using this card, you can purchase things both online and offline, and you don’t need to waste your time going to a bank,” comments Roman Ageyev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of NKO Platezhny Standart.

The process of issuing a virtual card consists of several stages. First, the client chooses a card value and completes fields on the website. At the second stage, the user pays for the virtual card and receives an SMS with payment details. Then, the client can purchase things using his/her virtual card. Clients also have an opportunity to add their virtual card to Apple Pay or Google Pay, which makes the shopping process much easier. In this case, you do not have to take your bank cards with you, they are always in your mobile phone.

In accordance with the audited Financial Statements under the IFRS Group, revenue amounted to RUB 11.55 billion for the full year of 2018, net profit was RUB 1.33 billion, and EBITDA was RUB 2.86 billion.

In December 2019, RAEX (Expert РА) assigned the creditworthiness rating to Obuv Rossii Group at ruBBB+ level, a "stable" forecast.
