Number of pick-up points in Obuv Rossii stores exceeded 1200

Novosibirsk, 28 November 2019: Obuv Rossii Group, the first publicly traded company of Russian fashion retail, sums up the work on Pick-up Points project for the year. At present moment, the number of pick-up points that operate in Obuv Rossii stores is 1250; the number of parcels issued since November 2018 has exceeded 270 thousand. Now the company is cooperating with seven partners — logistics operators PickPoint, DPD, Hermes, Boxberry, PEC and Russian Post, as well as OZON online retailer.

«We are going to further develop the postal services in our stores. We will have new partners and outlets involved in the project, increase conversion rates. Our goal is to improve our services as long as stores cease to be only premises with shelves for goods. These are also multi-service centers that provide additional services for customers. The boundaries between different retail formats are blurring; the synergy of online and offline sales channels allows to attract new customers, increase efficiency and revenue,» — comments Anton Titov, CEO of Obuv Rossii Group.

Obuv Rossii started opening the first pick-up points in November 2018 together with PickPoint. The project is a part of company's strategy to integrate into logistics structure of the Russian e-commerce market. Over the year, Obuv Rossii has reached the rate of 13 thousand parcels per week. New services in the company's stores contribute to foot traffic grow: in October 2019, the share of clients of pick-up points was 2.5% of the total number of visitors of Obuv Rossii stores.

In accordance with the audited Financial Statements under the IFRS Group, revenue amounted to RUB 11.55 billion for the full year of 2018, net profit was RUB 1.33 billion, and EBITDA was RUB 2.86 billion.
