During the three-week sale-out, OR GROUP sold more than 900 thousand goods worth more than RUB 750 mln

OR GROUP, included in the list of systemic companies in the light industry, summarizes the results of the sale-out, which was held in the retail chain and on its own Westfalika marketplace from February 21 to March 13. During the campaign, retail revenue surged 175% compared to the same period in 2021 and exceeded RUB 750 mln. In total, more than 900 thousand of goods were sold.

Footwear, home textiles and hosiery were the most popular in retail. The online platform also showed a significant increase in demand for the presented range. Online customers placed more than 20,400 orders, which is 6 times higher than in the same period in 2021.

«The sale included leftovers from previous periods and the autumn-winter collection 2021/22. The discounts reached 70%. The promotion activities coincided with a change in the exchange rate, but it did not affect the cost of our goods. However, the expectation of a possible price increase further boosted the customers’ activity. We fixed record demand for footwear and home textiles. We will adjust further pricing policy for the range presented in our stores according to the economic situation», — comments Elena Khvorova, Head of Purchase and Sale Department of OR GROUP.

«During the sale-out, the number of online orders rose sixfold compared to the same period of the previous year. Due to the higher demand and the growing load on the online platform, we were forced to slightly increase the order processing and delivery time to pick-up points», — comments Alexey Chaplygin, head of OR GROUP online sales.
