Obuv Rossii brands appeared in the goods.ru marketplace

Obuv Rossii Group and the goods.ru marketplace (the project of M.Video-Eldorado, the leader of Russian household appliances market) concluded a partnership agreement. Under the deal, Obuv Rossii has placed on goods.ru the entire range of products under its own brands — apparel, shoes and accessories. The customer can get the products using the «Order and Pick up» service: a client, making an order on the goods.ru marketplace, can pick it up in the retailer's stores. At the same time, all products of the category participate in the goods.ru loyalty program — for each purchase, the user gets the cashback reward which can be used to pay up to 50% of the next order cost.

«The goods.ru marketplace will become an additional sales channel for our company and will help us increase traffic in the stores. This partnership has a number of advantages: we do not bear the costs of logistics and storage of products, while we get a wide audience of potential customers, increase the share of our company's online presence and boost customer loyalty,» comments Timur Efimov, Head of E-commerce Department of Obuv Rossii Group.

«The brands presented by Obuv Rossii will significantly expand the range of our footwear category. This partnership will also enable the clients of the marketplace to make their shopping more convenient — inhabitants of more than 300 cities across Russia, where Obuv Rossii retail stores operate, will be able to place an order and pick it up on the same day. For us, this cooperation is a significant step towards the development of the «Order and Pick up» service on goods.ru,» comments Artem Kuzmichev, Head of the Apparel, Footwear, Accessories Business Group, the goods.ru marketplace.

The development of online retailing is one of the priority areas for Obuv Rossii. In the 1st half of 2020, the share of online sales in the retail revenue reached 16%. The Group is both improving its own online store and increasing the volume of cooperation with marketplaces. The company is already working with Wildberries and Lamoda, in December 2019 it started cooperation with the Tmall platform.
