Obuv Rossii will sell books by Phoenix Publishing House

Novosibirsk, May 12, 2020: Obuv Rossii, the first public retailer in Russian fashion market, develops Prodayom selling platform and its own marketplace. In April, the company had a new partner — the Phoenix Publishing House, whose books and other printed materials are now available at sales outlets of the Group.

“This is a new experience for us; we think that such products will be interesting for our target audience. Phoenix Publishing House is the largest regional publishing house in Russia, which has been operating on the market for 37 years. We consider a large and varied assortment of books, as well as training manuals, to be resonating with our customers and their children. We plan to expand the number of such goods,” comments Elena Khvorova, Head of Procurement and Sales Department, Obuv Rossii Group.

The company’s stores are selling learning books for preschoolers and schoolchildren such as manuals for children to teach counting and writing, copybooks, workbooks, development coloring books, fairy tales, stories and encyclopedias. In addition, customers can buy educational materials for spending leisure time with children: books with stickers, books for cutting, educational posters, tasks for preparing for school, textbooks on the development of speech, memory, logic, letters and numbers. The total range of books and other printed materials includes 377 SKU.

Obuv Rossii Group has experience in developing a category of goods for children. In 2015, the company started selling a line of children's textiles under the Westfalika Kids brand. The collection includes bedding sets and towels made from natural materials. In January 2020, about 40 thousand units of children's goods were delivered to 700 company’s stores by the supplier MDI LLC («World of Wooden Toys»). And already in March, a new assortment of children's and teenagers' footwear from Russian footwear factory Lel’, one of the leading domestic manufacturers, appeared in the stores of Obuv Rossii Group.
