Obuv Rossii Launches a New Line of Face and Body Care Products

Obuv Rossii Group, the first publicly traded company of Russian fashion-retail, has expanded its line of foot and body care products under the Westfalika Medical brand. The stock of products was supplemented with body gels, scrubs and mousses, foot creams as well as a separate special citrus line for face care that includes micellar water, facial tonic and washing gel. As a result, Obuv Rossii offers now virtually the whole range of main products for self care – over 50 SKU.

To manufacture the new body care products, Obuv Rossii cooperates with Phytocosmetic Company that has been operating on the cosmetic products market for 15 years producing green cosmetics of natural components. The Company’s stock consists of 800 products that include hair, face, body, nail care products and a wide range of professional hair colours.

The new products were supplied to Obuv Rossii’s stores in July. “The introduction of a new line is connected with strong demand for these products. Our customers like to try something new, and we do our best to satisfy their demand by introducing new items for self care,” says Olga Danilova, head of Related Products Department of Obuv Rossii Group. There are natural components such as orange, grapefruit, lemon and lime juices as well as mint and rose extracts in the new line; they enrich the skin with vitamins, refresh it and make it vibrant.

Obuv Rossii has been developing the Westfalika Medical brand since 2010. The Company started from one type of foot cream, and later the line was expanded and now it includes different types of creams, care products with pink salt, various accessories, etc. In addition to Westfalika Medical, Obuv Rossii offers other related products categories such as bags, leather goods, hosiery, hats, etc. – total more than 8,000 SKU. According to the results of the first six months of 2019, sales of related products increased by 23.6% and made up 35.3% of the retail proceeds.
