DPD Pick-up Points Opened in Obuv Rossii Stores

Obuv Rossii Group, the first publicly traded company in the Russian fashion retail, announces the opening of a new project with DPD, the largest commercial operator of express delivery in Russia. The partners have successfully completed the testing of DPD online orders pick-up points located in the stores of the Obuv Rossii retail chain.

Within the pilot project, launched in December 2018, more than 20 retail outlets were connected to the DPD Pickup network in such cities as Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Vladivostok, Ulan-Ude and others. In the future it is planned to connect about 150 more stores.

The partnership with the DPD Company is part of the strategy of the Group to integrate into the logistics infrastructure of the Russian e-commerce market. The Company started implementing the strategy in 2018. "With the new project, we offer a new convenient service to our customers, improve quality of service in our retail outlets, increase traffic and omni-channel sales," comments Anton Titov, CEO of Obuv Rossii Group.

The placement of pick-up points in the stores of a shoe company is a new stage of cooperation between DPD and Obuv Rossii Group, which began in 2013 with the delivery of goods by DPD to retail stores of the network.

"We appreciate the cooperation with such a dynamically developing company as Obuv Rossii, and we are glad that our cooperation has now evolved into new form. DPD drop-off service in stores provides more comfortable locations to the customers for receiving their online orders, attracts additional traffic for our partners and makes it possible for the shoe company to expand the offer of services to its customers," says Ilya Martynov, Sales Director of DPD in Siberia and Far East of Russia.

Currently, Obuv Rossii cooperates with two large logistic operators of Russian e-commerce and issues more than 1,500 online orders a week. The Group will continue developing the new business line and adding new partners to it.
