OR GROUP launched sales of goods on SberMegaMarket

OR GROUP, a modern selling platform which develops a network of Westfalika selling and service points and an ecosystem of services, continues to increase its presence in the e-commerce market: the company started cooperation with multi-category marketplace SberMegaMarket according to the scheme of shipment of goods from the seller’s warehouse (FBS — fulfillment by seller). Due to new partnership, the Group intends to increase the number of online orders by 15% by the end of 2021.

On the marketplace, the Group is selling footwear, outerwear, leather goods, household goods under the Westfalika brand. In addition, the online storefront will present the products of OR GROUP suppliers in such categories as electronics and household appliances, hygiene products, cosmetics and other related products. In the first month of cooperation, the Group will present more than 1000 SKU on the platform planing to increase their number by 3 times. SberMegaMarket presents photos of goods, size chart, and also updates the leftover goods in the warehouse online.

Cooperation with major market players, including SberMegaMarket, is an opportunity for the Group to expand the geography of its presence, attract new customers and increase online sales. So, by the end of 2021, we expect an increase in the number of online orders by 15%», — comments Alexey Chaplygin, head of OR GROUP online sales.

«The fashion segment on the marketplace is growing faster than the market: while in general online clothing sales are growing by on average of 35% per year, the same category on SberMegaMarket has increased fourfold. The number of orders for clothing, footwear and accessories in the 3rd quarter of 2021 is 522% higher than in the same period in 2020 due to the popularization of online shopping as well as to active development of the category on our marketplace. We are expanding the number of partners among large retail chains. This allows us to fully meet the needs of our customers offering a wide range of products and a convenient loyalty program. Over the year, the number of sellers in the category has almost doubled», — notes Artyom Kuzmichev, head of SberMegaMarket business-group of Fashion.

At the first stage, 13 stores in Yekaterinburg, which operate as warehouses and from which delivery will be carried out, will be connected to SberMegaMarket. In the future, OR GROUP plans to scale the project to other regions of its own retail network.

After placing an order on the marketplace, the information automatically enters the Group's turnover system for further processing. Operators find the desired product in the store and transfer it to the logistics department. Delivery to the purchaser's door is carried out by the logistics partner of OR GROUP — Pochta Rossii. In remote areas, orders will be sent to post offices.

OR GROUP increases online sales through the development of its own platforms, as well as cooperation with third-party marketplaces and the introduction of new cooperation schemes. In the 1st half of 2021, the Group's online revenue grew by 34.5% year-on-year, and its share in the sales of the Westfalika selling platform reached 24.5%.
